USA Swimming is the National Governing Body for the sport of swimming in the United States. Membership is comprised of swimmers of every age and ability, all the way up to the Olympic Team, as well as coaches, officials and volunteers.

Minnesota Swimming, Inc. is a nonprofit organization and Local Swimming Committee (LSC)* of USA Swimming and a member of the USA Swimming Central Zone. It sets the standards we follow for competitive swimming for youth in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

Bloomington Community Ed provides lessons and open swim times for all members of the community. If your swimmer is not quite ready for a competitive swim environment, you may be directed here for a few more lessons.

SwimSwam is one of the most popular swimming news sources. It has a podcast, website, and print magazine covering the world of competitive swimming, including race results and analysis, athlete interviews, training tips, live coverage of events, and more.  Swimming World started as a magazine in 1960 and is now a website, print magazine, social media channels, and a mobile app. It provides news, features, and analysis for athletes, coaches, and enthusiasts for all levels of competitive aquatic sports.
